I've always been interested in natural healing.  As a child, my nan would tell me about how good castor oil packs and poultices were as well as teaching me how to make natural rose water.  My mum would regularly say "prevention is better than cure".  When I became a mum, I turned to using Homeopathy for my children when they were little which provided great results that made a positive difference in their health when everything else that I tried had failed.

Academically, I went on to complete and graduate from a top 6 ranked UK university, undertaking a 4 year health degree as well as working for 2 years on practicums in a hospital, adult psychiatry unit and addictions facility.  I was very lucky to have had the most amazing professors who taught me critical thinking and to not blindly believe what studies were out there but to find out who funded them and what the real purpose was.  One of the very first lessons I was taught at university by my professors was the importance about Socrates and to always question 'why'.  

 

I began working in the mainstream health and social care sector but was becoming frustrated and disheartened with the lack of results I was seeing.  I had spoken to a surgeon in Cyprus who used essential oils with his patients claiming better healing outcomes than without, I had read about better health outcomes for patients in the NHS UK who had received Reflexology or Equine Therapy as part of their integrated approach, I had read about hospitals in Thailand using Acupuncture.  I felt frustration that there appeared to be a reluctance to introduce more of an integrated approach into the system I was in.  So it made sense in my mind to leap across in search of other new ways of healing and wellness.

I travelled to Thailand and discovered Reflexology.  These treatments took me to a place of what I can only call Zen. It was like taking a magic pill.  I truly felt at the end of treatments that if somebody were to tell me that if the world would end in that minute, I still felt this state of calm, contentment and inner peace.  I had never felt this kind of deep relaxation of mind and body with massage or other modalities.  I knew there was something to it, so when I returned home, I decided to look into this more and that's when I trained to become a Registered Reflexology Therapist.

I also started researching into discoveries made in the 1950's by European medical doctors and found about about the amazing Dr. Paul Nogier, French Neurologist, which is where my appetite for Auricular Medicine and Frequency Healing happened.  After some time of learning French Auricular, I moved over to German Auricular which has been taught to me by Canada's experts in this field Dave Maybee and Dr. Lisa Welsechuk who I have been tremendously blessed with not only being treated by her and experiencing the medicine that I treat people with but also being able to attend many sessions observing and learning from her.

I have travelled to a lot of different places on my quest for natural healing.  I went to Seattle and Vancouver to learn about Dr. Bach Flower Essence Remedies which were created over 100 years ago by British Medical Doctor Edward Bach who was not only a Doctor, Surgeon, Virologist but also a Homeopathy Doctor.  He later turned away from his practices in favour of making these natural flower essence tinctures to help people with unhelpful emotions which he believed the emotional condition was responsible for causing the physical condition.

It is incredible to think that flower essence remedies date back to the 15th Century with Hildegard von Bingham having used them!

I travelled to Portugal in 2024 to attend an Advanced Trauma Workshop where I learned about the latest advancements for treating current day traumas as well as past life traumas from the works of amazing German Doctors, Dr. Bahr & Dr. Strittmatter.

In 2024 and 2025, I was part of a select small group of Naturopaths, Homeopaths and Nurse Practitioners undertaking professional training by the highly regarded Dr. Ginger Nash learning about Homotoxicology and Drainage.

 

As I continue my studying and research, I currently am working with ways of frequency resonance healing for both people as well as their beloved pets and laser therapy for animals which I am excited to be offering very soon.

In my spare time, I enjoy researching into ancient healing traditions, being around animals and nature, travelling, music and art.
